Ordering is simple and takes place in three steps:

- Upload official identification (e.g. ID, passport, driving license or foreigner's identity card)
- Receive the debt collection extract securely by e-mail - usually within 24 hours (working days)
Your official debt collection extract will be sent to you securely by e-mail as a PDF document.
As a rule, you will receive your debt collection extract within 24 hours on working days. On weekends and public holidays, the processing time may take longer.
The fee is CHF 29.90 (incl. VAT) and covers all official fees as well as all payment and transaction costs. There are no further costs.
The debt collection extract is issued by the debt collection office responsible for you. You will receive an official document that is recognized for various matters such as rental agreements, loan applications, employment contracts and permits.
Yes, the digital debt collection extract is provided with a qualified electronic signature by the competent debt collection office. This signature is equivalent to a handwritten signature. You can check its authenticity at any time at www.validator.ch.
Yes, this is possible. However, the applicant must be entered in the commercial register as an authorized signatory.
No, it is not possible to cancel, as the application is submitted directly to the relevant debt collection office after receipt of the order. This results in expenses and non-refundable costs.
Yes, you can order a debt collection extract if you registered at your new place of residence at least 14 days ago. Otherwise, we recommend that you wait until your registration has been completed and entered in the register before ordering.
Yes, you can order debt enforcement extracts for all your previous places of residence for the last 5 years. Please place a separate order for each place of residence. This is often requested by landlords or other institutions.

The debt collection office of your political municipality of residence is responsible for issuing the extract - not the place of weekly residence.
e-debtdebt collection extract.ch takes care of finding the debt collection office responsible for you as well as all coordination and communication. Once you have placed your order, you don't have to do anything else - we take care of the entire process.
After a move, the extract is only available after 14 days in the new municipality.
The debt collection extract contains a list of all debt enforcements, seizures and loss certificates issued in the last five years up to the current date.
It provides information on whether a debt collection has been contested, settled or resulted in a seizure or a certificate of loss. The extract relates to the place of residence of the person concerned or the head office of a company.
If you have changed your place of residence several times or once in the past five years, it is necessary to apply for a separate debt collection register extract for each previous address.
A debt collection extract represents the current status at the time of issue and is therefore only valid at that moment. In practice, however, experience shows that it is recognized up to two months after the date of issue.
In most cases, you will receive the debt collection extract within 24 hours of receipt of your order. On weekends and public holidays, however, the processing time can take up to 4 days, as the debt collection offices are closed. We ask for your understanding as we cannot speed up the process.
